Aftercare and memorials will be provided by McAlister-Smith Funeral Services in West Columbia. Your pet’s care will be transferred after the appointment to their professional staff to assist in memorial selection and cremation options.

Aftercare

Lowcountry Pet Hospice is proud to offer the first of its kind, Aquamation, in the state of South Carolina. This aftercare alternative utilizes water and salts instead of the traditional fire method of cremation to provide ash remains of your pet after their passing. *An additional travel fee will be assessed beyond a 40-mile radius of Moncks Corner, SC within the Greater Charleston Metro Area. This fee will be determined when your appointment is confirmed.

Cancellation Policy: We realize that end of life decisions can be difficult. If there is apprehension about a scheduled appointment, please consider a palliative care consultation in lieu of the scheduled euthanasia to best assess your pet and family's needs. If a cancelling within 24 hours to the scheduled appointment, a cancellation fee of $180 will be applied.
